Ages 8-11 Youth Volleyball Fundamentals Skills Camp. 

Players will be learning proper technique for all fundamental skills. Great for those players wanting to improve their skills to prepare for more advanced play. If your player is interested in competing at the next level, or needs to improve at the competitive level, then this is for them.

Camp will be located at Neinhuis Community Center from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. June 23rd - June 25th

This camp will be hosted by BAVC, and ran by Deborah A. Newkirk. Deborah is the founder of COACH 'EM UP & COACH KIDS UP, and also the author of the Youth Volleyball Curriculum handbook offered by The Art of Coaching Volleyball organization. She has hosted many camps with BAVC and we love having her join us again! This years focus will be more on competitive play and raising the skill level to that competitive style. 

Deborah Newkirk
Deborah Newkirk has over three decades of experience in youth coaching. She is a physical educator who has spent a professional lifetime bringing the worlds of coaching and teaching together. After 20 years of competitive coaching, she began focusing on training and created COACH 'EM UP. Today, COACH 'EM UP serves as a resource for nearly 3,000 families a year. Year round off-the-floor training programs have been a big part of the COACH 'EM UP success, providing young athletes with motivation and an organized means of improving their game, both on the court and in their backyards.

Ages 12 - 14 Volleyball Skills Camp

Camp will be located at Neinhuis Community Center from 9:00 am - 11:30 am. July 5th

This camp will be hosted by BAVC, and ran by Megan Brand. 

Megan  Brands - U12 Competitive Coach

Megan Played for Catoosa High School, then went on to play college at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO. There she was ranked in the top 5 servers in the country for 3 years. She is a Class A High School Official, State College Volleyball Official and College Scorekeeper for 15 years. In 2017 and 2018 She coached Team USA at the United World Games in Austria. Megan has been coaching at BAVC for the last 8 years, and she will be coaching U12s this next competitive season.
