For Tryouts, all players must bring:

CLUB COSTS
Initial costs of $55 for the OKRVA sanction, and $45 tryout fee are listed above. Once selected for a team, the team costs are listed below. An initial deposit of $225 is required for all teams at signing. Afterwards parents can pay in full or choose a 3-month payment plan for the balance. Ages U12-U14 payments are due Nov 15th, Dec 15th, Jan 15th. Ages U15-U18 and Boys teams payments are due Oct 15th, Nov 15th, Dec 15th. All payments can be made through the BAVC website or by cash/check. Paying by credit card or through the website does have an extra 3% processing fee. Optional backpacks are available for order at the uniform fitting for an extra cost.
Girls Teams Ages 10-11: $1350. 5-6 tournaments in Tulsa or OKC area. (Includes Oklahoma Regionals in Tulsa) 1-2 travel tournament to be Kansas or Arkansas 2 day.
Cost includes Coaches fees, Uniform consisting of two Jerseys, hoodie, 2 practice shirts, gym time, tournament fees, and team registration with OKRVA.
Girls Royal Teams Ages 12-18: $1650. 7-8 tournaments in Tulsa or OKC area. (Includes Oklahoma Regionals in Tulsa) plus 2-3 2-day travel tournaments to be Kansas or Arkansas.
Cost includes Coaches fees, Uniform consisting of 2-3 Jerseys, hoodie, 2 practice shirts, gym time, tournament fees, and team registration with OKRVA.
Girls Blue Teams Ages 12-18: $1350. 6-7 tournaments in Tulsa or OKC area. (Includes Oklahoma Regionals in Tulsa) plus 1 2-day travel tournament to be Kansas, Dallas or Arkansas.
Cost includes Coaches fees, Uniform consisting of 2-3 Jerseys, hoodie, 2 practice shirts, gym time, tournament fees, and team registration with OKRVA.
Boys Teams $1350. This is for 6-7 tournaments. This team will go to as many tournaments in Tulsa as will be available. Including regionals. Younger teams may occasionally play up in girls divisions in addition to available boys' tournaments. Teams may attend up to 3 travel tournaments in Texas and or Kansas City.
Cost includes Coaches fees, Uniform consisting of two Jerseys, 1 pair of shorts, hoodie, 2 practice shirts, gym time, tournament fees, and team registration with OKRVA.
PLAYER SELECTION
Offers will be made to the players selected within a day or up to a week. Please note that 10-year-olds may have to play up in the 11-year-old Division. The deadline to accept will be announced.
Although we would like to include as many players as possible, this is COMPETITIVE volleyball. NOT everyone will make a team. Players will be judged based on skill level and how much improvement may be needed prior to tournament play. These teams will be playing against experienced teams in a competitive environment and will need to be able to compete. Some players may have great potential but may be determined to not be ready for competitive play in time for tournaments. If your child is not quite ready, we recommend joining our recreational league and attending clinics/skill camps as they are available to prepare for next season. Please be aware, being selected for a team is NOT guaranteed, and there are no refunds of try out fees if your player is not selected.
COMMITMENT
Each player is expected to attend all practices and tournaments throughout the season. Players and parents will be asked to sign a contract.
PRACTICES
Practices: Begin in November/December. We generally plan for 2–3 practices per week (Monday/Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings). Scheduling may adjust based on coach availability and tournament weekends.
TOURNAMENTS
Competitive teams will be participating in sanctioned tournaments in Oklahoma and surrounding regions. Tournaments will begin in January. Specific tournaments to attend will be decided after teams are formed, and coaches have a chance to work with their players. Coaches and BAVC will pick tournaments based on coach’s availability, location, and cost.
Travel Tournaments
Coaching costs are fully included in team fees; parents will not be charged extra for coach travel expenses. Families are responsible for their own player’s travel, lodging, and meal expenses for out-of-town events.
