Expanding the Game: Building the Future of Boys' Volleyball

Building on the success of our established Ages 13–18 Boys' Program, BAVC is excited to expand! We are launching a Boys-Only Pilot Division specifically for ages 9 to 12. This is a unique opportunity for younger players to enter the sport and learn the game within a dedicated boys' framework.

To ensure elite-level growth, this program will be supported by experienced competitive coaches and players from our older boys' teams, who will assist in coaching and player development throughout the season.

How the Season Works: To provide the best competitive experience, the final structure will be determined by participation numbers:

• Multiple Teams: If interest allows for multiple teams, they will play a dedicated schedule against one another, supplemented by scrimmages against volunteer girls' teams.
• Single Team: If one team is formed, they will compete within our 3P Division against girls' teams.
• General Enrollment: If the minimum number for a full team is not met, players will be placed on co-ed teams or joined by female players to ensure a full season of play.

Registration Guidelines

Please register your player for the applicable division based on their age as of 09/05/2026.

Our Philosophy: BAVC is a recreational league dedicated to the fundamentals. We provide a fun, low-pressure atmosphere where beginners can learn the game and more advanced players can sharpen their skills alongside their peers.

Important: Capacity & Waitlists

• At Capacity: Any division marked "At Capacity" requires additional volunteer coaches before more players can be accepted.
• Waitlist: We encourage you to join the waitlist if a division is full. Players are pulled from the list as coaching spots are filled.
• Coaching Incentive: Volunteering to coach is the fastest way to get your player off the waitlist.
• Placement Policy: Please register for the correct age division only. Registering for an unqualified division because another is "At Capacity" disrupts league balance and player safety.
